Finally!

So I have finally managed to get some kind of a layout on here-I even figured out how to center the header! Go me!  Now that I have felt the rush of this little victory, I felt like I might as well give this whole blog thing another go.

So far there hasn't been a whole lot going on this summer for us, but we have managed to have a TON of pool time over at my cousin's house and here at our own pool.

Our super cute cousin Indica-we love her, and Craig managed to teach her how to swim without floaties on this particular afternoon. She's kind of destined to be a rock star!

We also had a blast celebrating our girl Karli's thirtieth birthday. She had a "prom" themes party, and we spent the morning of the party making balloon arches as decoration.

She went all out for her big day and had a professional photographer there for us to take our "prom pictures",

and a live band that Craig and I fell in love with (seriously, someone better sign them soon because they are great!)

The costumes people came up with were awesome, and voting for prom king and queen was fun...of course Karli and Randy won!

These guys were hilarious!

I have to apologize to the ozone for the eighties after trying to get my bangs to stand up like that.

The band wasn't in costume, but I still like the picture.

The King and Queen

Craig an I went to prom for the second time this year.

How could anyone not have a blast at a party like this? People were jumping off the roof into the pool and slow dancing was actually really fun and romantic in a silly way. We are way sad that Karli, Randy and the fam are moving to SLC, but all the more reason for us to take road trips up there more often!

...and the noose was tied!

Craig and I were fortunate enough to get married at the gorgeous La Caille in SLC on the twelfth of this month. It wasn't a big wedding (well under 100 people), but we were surrounded by all of the friends and family that we loved the most! Although it was overcast and rainy the entire weekend, there is no way our wedding day could have been more perfect. We are still waiting for our photographer to prepare the photos but thanks to our camera happy guests we have a few photos of the festivities to share...

My dress...If you look closely you can see my bridesmaid, Gaby, in the background fixing her makeup!

My cousin Randy was sweet enough to walk me down the aisle... What we didn't get a picture of was me falling face first down some stairs as we were lining up to go down the aisle. Here is a photo of me laughing after the groomsmen picked me up off the ground (it was hilarious!)
Hitting the ground with my face was the perfect way to break my jitters and the rest of the ceremony went off without a hitch...well, that is if you don't count the fact that the bishop forgot to have us exchange rings (I reminded him as he was about to pronounce us) or that Craig couldn't get my ring on my finger and I tried putting his on the wrong hand. Hey, if things has gone smoothly it wouldn't have been our wedding!

After the kiss came the pictures...and the poop on my dress (nope, no pictures of that either)
And the bridemaids are: Mariela Hellewell, Nikki Young (MOH), Me (the wifflebat), Laura Owen, Gaby Davila, and our rock star flower girl Indica! Love all of these girls so much! I have to note that Mariela is such an awesome chick, when we found out my cousin would not be able to be part of the wedding party during the rehearsal dinner, Mariela came to the rescue and stepped in! How awesome is she?! Not only did she look amazing, but she fit right in and we had a ton of fun! Thanks Mrs. Hellewell!

Craig thinks this picture is funny (can ya guess why?). All of the guys looked great- Craig chose their wardrobe himself! From left to right the groomsmen are: Steve Garreaud, Spencer Allred, The Bandito, Josh Palmer, Diego Hellewell, and my lil' bro Nikko!
The parents shot! My family (P.T & Mom), us, and Craig's parents (Sharon and Bob)

The entire wedding party (aka: The best people you may ever meet!)

Man, does this blogging stuff take a long time! More to come later, but for now I need to get some sleep!
